Our New Driver Skill Building Course is designed to better prepare new drivers for behind-the-wheel emergencies. The NHTSA published statistics showing that drivers are most likely to have an accident within their first 6 months of driving. Additionally drivers of 16-24 are four times more likely to be involved in an accident than drivers 25-69.
Our course provides classroom instruction on vehicle preparedness, statistics and the physics of driving followed by practical application of real world skills performed in real world scenarios – such as accident avoidance and emergency braking/turns.
Course Outline:
-Classroom Lecture on Vehicle Mechanics & the Physics of Drivingg
-Vehicle Checks, Equipment & Emergency Preparedness
-Accident Avoidance, Emergency braking & Swerving-to-avoid Exercises
